Democracy
for THE PEOPLE.
Hi – I'm Kristin! I'm not a politician. I'm a scientist with a PhD in animal behavior and a former middle school teacher, so I'm well prepared to handle Congress!

As a former federal scientist, I know the government can and should be a powerful force for good – not a weapon of oppression.
I am running to fight for affordability, to demand accountability, and to expand opportunity for working families like my own.

Putting My Policy Experience to Work
When the pandemic hit, I left my research career to serve the public as a science and tech expert in our federal government. In the U.S. Senate, I fought corruption and helped write bipartisan laws that invest in safer communities, clean water, and good-paying union jobs. At the National Institutes of Health, I worked to expand access to health care. And at the U.S. Government Accountability Office, I helped Congress use facts to solve real-world problems, protected your hard-earned tax dollars from waste, and served as an elected union leader to stand up for hundreds of federal workers.

About Texas’ 21st
Congressional District
At the request of Trump, Texas Republicans just gerrymandered our map to consolidate Republican power in 2026 – and the Supreme Court just allowed it. Let's make sure they come to regret their attempt to silence your voice! If you live in San Antonio or San Marcos, it is likely your district may have changed.
