As a scientist and former teacher, I am trained to solve complex problems and will bring sensible leadership and compromise to Congress to help solve the critical issues we face here in Texas. I am fighting to protect our rights and to level the playing field for working families like my own.

Putting My Policy Experience to Work
At the height of the pandemic, I left my research career in reproductive biology to serve the public in our federal government because I saw our country needed me. I served as a science and tech expert in the U.S. Senate, National Institutes of Health, and Government Accountability Office – where I helped educate Congress on emerging science and tech issues and ensured taxpayer dollars are spent effectively.

Given that the Texas Legislature redraws our map every 10 years based on U.S. Census data, many folks are unaware that their district may have changed since 2020.
